Tesla Powerwall 3
What are the Tesla Powerwall 3 specifications?
A 13.5 kWh home battery with a solar inverter built into the same unit, aimed at whole-home backup on a single enclosure. It holds 13.5 kWh of usable energy and delivers 11.5 kW continuously — capacity decides how long you can run, output decides what you can switch on at all.

What matters in Florida
- Continuous output is the figure that decides whether a Florida home can run central air conditioning on battery during an outage. Capacity decides how long; output decides what turns on at all.
- Air conditioning is usually the largest single backup load in Florida, and its starting surge matters as much as its running draw. A load calculation, not a spec sheet, decides what a single unit will carry.
- Outdoor-rated enclosures still benefit from a shaded or garage location in Florida heat. Sustained high ambient temperature can cause a battery to limit output to protect itself.
- In Miami-Dade and Broward, equipment mounting must satisfy High-Velocity Hurricane Zone requirements, which affects mounting detail and product approval paperwork.

Will one Powerwall 3 run my whole house?
Its 11.5 kW continuous rating puts central air conditioning within reach for many homes, but "many" is not "yours". Your compressor's running draw and starting surge, plus everything else on the backup panel, decide it. A load calculation is what settles the question.
Why is there no price on this page?
Because we have no dated, sourced basis for one. Helio41 does not yet have a Florida installation partner price sheet, and installed cost depends heavily on your electrical panel and backup scope anyway.
Can this be added to solar I already have?
It integrates on the solar side, which for an existing array usually means replacing or reworking your current inverter. That is more involved and more expensive than an AC-coupled retrofit.
