Terms of use

What are the terms of using Helio41?

This site provides general information and indicative estimates about home solar and battery storage in Florida. It is not professional advice, not an engineering design, and not a binding quote. Helio41 is not a licensed contractor and does not perform installations.

Agreeing to these terms

By using helio41.com you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site. They are between you and Helio41 Energy, and they apply to every part of the site including the estimator and the calculators.

What our estimates are

  • Indicative models built from published sources and stated assumptions.
  • Dependent on the information you provide, which we do not verify.
  • Not an engineering design. A licensed contractor performing a site assessment and load calculation determines what can actually be installed.
  • Not a binding quote and not an offer of contract.

No guarantee of savings

Helio41 does not guarantee savings, production, payback or any financial outcome. Electricity rates, utility rules, incentives and equipment pricing change, and your results depend on factors specific to your property.

Accuracy and third parties

We take reasonable care to keep information accurate and to state when each fact was verified, but we do not warrant that everything is current or complete. Where we link to a utility, regulator or manufacturer, that organisation is the authority on its own information. Installation work is performed by independent licensed contractors, who are responsible for their own work and licensing.

What we ask of you

  • Give accurate information. Our estimates are only as good as what you enter, and we do not verify it.
  • Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its internal pages.
  • Do not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other people. Search engines and AI assistants are welcome — see our robots.txt, which names the ones we permit explicitly.
  • Do not present our content as your own. You may quote and link to it, including in an AI-generated answer, provided the source is attributed.

Our content

The text, calculations, methodology and design of this site belong to Helio41 Energy. Quoting a passage with attribution and a link is fine and we encourage it. Republishing pages wholesale is not. Facts we cite from utilities, regulators and manufacturers belong to them, and we name each source so you can go to the original.

Limits on our liability

The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Helio41 Energy is not liable for any loss arising from decisions you make based on information here — including any difference between an estimate on this site and a real quote, and including anything done by a contractor you engage. That is why nothing here is presented as a quote, and why we would rather publish no number than an unsourced one.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not permit it to be limited.

Availability

We do not promise the site will always be available or that every page will always be present. Pages are added, corrected and sometimes withdrawn — a page whose underlying data has gone out of date is withdrawn deliberately rather than left to mislead, which is a feature and not an outage.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts of Florida.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date below is when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the current version.

Common questions

Is an estimate a quote?

No. An estimate is an indicative model. A quote is a priced offer from a licensed contractor after assessing your property.

Who is responsible for the installation?

The licensed contractor performing it. They hold the licensing, carry out the work, and are responsible for it.
